Reviewing the Amazon Echo Show 15, my favourite new Alexa powered smart speaker with built-in 15.6-inch display. With the new Widgets-based UI, this is a great smart home device for getting at-a-glance info, with the usual Alexa assistant voice support and simple setup. I’ve been testing the Echo Show 15 and it’s definitely one of the best, if not cheapest, options for 2022.
You can wall mount Amazon’s display if you like, or pay a bit extra for the stand to prop it up. The 5MP camera can recognise you to serve up personalised info, while the far field mics help Alexa to hear you even in a noisy environment.
The Echo Show 15 sports a mighty Full HD screen for enjoying YouTube, Netflix and Prime Video while you’re knocking up your dinner or whatever. And the stereo speaker setup is respectable too, loud enough to enjoy a movie even in a noisy kitchen.
