Curved 165Hz Gaming Monitor | Huawei MateView GT 27 Review

Reviewing the Huawei Mateview GT 27, a curved gaming monitor boasting 165Hz refresh, adaptive sync support and a compact 27-inch design. However, this display lacks the features and flair of the original Mateview GT 34-inch, including less ports, no audio support and a less stunning design.

Check out my review of Huawei’s other gamer monitor for a closer look at that 21:9 ultra-view screen, one of my personal favourite best devices of 2021 for desktop PC gaming.

While I like the more compact finish of this panel, I do miss the many best buts of the larger model. For instance, the Huawei Mateview GT 27 lacks any audio support, has less ports and also doesn’t sport the same slick 21:9 finish (better suited to a larger display). This monitor also offers less strong contrast, yet the visuals are still respectable for everyday casual gaming.
