Huawei Watch GT 4 (46mm) | Unboxing & Two Week Review

Unboxing the Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm Steel smartwatch with a two week review of the battery life, fitness tracking and other bits. While it also comes in 41mm, this bigger Huawei Watch GT 4 boasts a larger battery and display, and packs premium features for a £299 UK price. As well as Steel, you can also grab it in other designs including Rainforest Green GMT.

Unlike Wear OS smartwatches, your notification support is limited and you can’t download a massive selection of apps from the Play Store. However, the Huawei Watch GT4 rocks a ravishing finish, especially in this premium steel model. That OLED screen is a stunner, making Harmony OS look bright, bold and attractive.

You have a full range of fitness features including upgraded GPS tracking, plus skin temperature monitoring and the usual sleep shenanigans. The Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm also has a built-in mic and speaker, although don’t bother using the Celia assistant…

So is the Huawei Watch GT 4 one of the best smartwatches of 2023? Well, for battery life it’s beaten by few, especially those Wear OS rivals like the Samsung Galaxy and Pixel. You have all of the main features you’d expect, especially for sports and outdoor excursions. And I like the customisation on offer.
