Unboxing the Motorola Moto G82 5G smartphone, with a hands-on review of the camera tech, gaming performance and other bits. For a budget of £300 you get some respectable specs, including a 120Hz AMOLED screen, 5000mAh battery – and an actual headphone jack! But the Motorola Moto G82 5G isn’t quite as powerful as some affordable phone rivals, while the software support also lags behind some of the competition.

That 50MP primary camera is good for everyday shots, although it does struggle in more testing conditions. The Motorola G82 also can’t record 4K video, maxing out at FHD resolution.

Still, the Moto app adds some great features including a proper gaming mode. And speaking of games, titles such as PubG and CODM run with a smooth frame rate, while Genshin Impact was just about playable on the lowest detail settings. The Motorola Moto G82 also serves up 5G support and strong battery life, offering up to a couple of days of life between charges.
