Re-reviewing the OnePlus 9 Pro in 2022, to see if this flagship smartphone is worth buying now the 10 Pro has officially launched. How much has the performance, camera tech, battery life and software experience improved on the OnePlus 9 Pro? Will we get a stable Oxygen OS 12 update any time soon?? Here’s my long term thoughts and stay tuned for an unboxing of the new premium handset.

I already liked this blower last year, but at £829 in 2022, Google’s Pixel 6 phones are a more tempting offering. However, that price may be slashed soon with the launch of the OnePlus 10 Pro, and some aspects of this mobile have improved.

The camera results are similar to before, offering respectable photo and video returns in most conditions. Yes, the Pixels work better in tougher scenarios, but this’ll do the job for most users.

Gaming performance and battery life seem to have improved over time, which is great to see. However, the latest Oxygen OS 12 update was pulled in the end due to many bugs, so we’re still waiting on the latest OnePlus 9 Pro software.
