Reviewing the OnePlus Nord 2T, an upgraded version of one of my favourite mid-range smartphones of last year. The camera tech and many of the other specs haven’t been changed much at all, but the OnePlus Nord 2T is still great for photography, gaming and everyday shenanigans. I’ve been using it as my full-time personal phone so here’s everything you need to know.

If your budget is under £400, then this handset is well worth considering and a strong rival to the Samsung A53 5G etc. I enjoyed having it on me this week, thanks to the smooth performance, dependable battery life and competitive camera which is good for shooting family snaps. Games like PubG and CoDM play with a smooth frame rate and are enhanced by OxygenOS’ gamer mode. So overall, the OnePlus Nord 2T gets my recommendation.

However, it’s not perfect as there’s no expandable storage and no headphone jack. Also, if you already have the Nord 2, then there’s no compelling reason to upgrade to this 2022 model. All the same, this is one of the best mid-range smartphones under £400 right now.
