Reviewing the Razer Barracuda Pro, a fresh 2022 gaming headset disguised as some premium headphones with some seriously great features. While they’re not Xbox compatible, the Razer Barracuda Pro supports PC, PS5, Switch, Steam Deck and other wireless devices. They can also hook up to Android smartphones and iPhones over Bluetooth, swapping between those and the bundled dongle with a button push.
I’ve been testing this gaming headset for over a week now, and I’m impressed by the excellent battery life and best-in-class premium sound quality. I’d happily use them as my full time headphones, if the ANC was only more effective. Still, with a £250 asking price, the Barracuda Pro is a great choice if you can afford it and want 2-in-1 wireless headphones.
Razer’s Audio app can be downloaded for Android and iOS, offering full control over the noise cancelling and other elements. You also get a carry case bundled for travel, plus USB cables and that wireless dongle.
So are you tempted by the Barracuda Pro? It’d be great to hear your thoughts below, hope this was helpful!
