The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE (Fan Edition) is rumoured to launch in 2023, so here’s a round up of the leaked specs, camera tech, Exynos action etc. We’re likely to see the Samsung S23 FE (just one model, no 5G version) released at the end of this year or early ’24, but this Fan Edition may not be as essential as previous models.
Check out my unboxing and review of the regular Galaxy S23 here on Tech Spurt!
Unfortunately, while previous Fan Edition smartphones boosted the performance with a Snapdragon chipset rather than Exynos (here in the UK), the 2023 model seems to reverse this trend. Leaks reckon the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2200, same as last year’s S22. If so, that means a significant drop in performance vs the regular S23.
You’re also likely to see a less powerful telephoto camera and perhaps a couple of other savings, while the 6.4-inch screen is somewhere between the vanilla and Plus flagships.
That’s what we seem to know so far, but what would you love to see in the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE? Are you even bothered about a Fan Edition? Let us know below!
