Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 vs Pro | 40, 44 or 45mm, which is best for you?

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro 45mm smartwatch costs a lot more vs the regular model (available in 40mm and 44mm) – giving three new smartwatch options for 2022. So should you get the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, upgrade to the Watch 5 Pro, or just sack the whole lot off? Here’s my hands-on review and comparison ahead of my proper verdict.

A lot of the specs and features remain the same regardless of which version of the Samsung Watch 5 you stump up for. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is more durable than the regular, with a titanium chassis vs stainless steel and an ever tougher sapphire glass screen. You also have a bigger battery, so hopefully this smartwatch won’t die in a day.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is also massive however, not to mention heavy. So if you want something more slimline, the Samsung Watch 5 40mm is more affordable and still boasts many of the best features. This includes the upgraded sleep tracking and most of the same fitness tools.

My in-depth review is coming soon, but are you tempted by the new Galaxy Watch 5 series? UK pricing is included in the video, let me know your thoughts below!
