We’ve already had quite a few foldables in 2023, from the Pixel Fold to the Huawei Mate X3. To Samsung’s chagrin, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 has already been mostly revealed before Unpacked – from the camera setup and general specs to that updated design.
So is it worth the upgrade if you already have last year’s foldable phone? Well, that depends how much you want a gapless hinge, but it’d be great to hear your own Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 wish list below!
Early leaks suggest that this 2023 bendy blower will sport the same camera hardware as before. You can expect improved image processing if that’s the case however, for hopefully better looking pics.
Performance will be boosted by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, so the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be just as beefy for gaming as the S23 phones. I’m personally hoping that this foldable dishes up longer battery life too, but only time will tell.
